Configuration Settings

If PCARDP is used to process different types of studies, like dynamic or gated studies, it is recommended to check and adjust the PCARDP configuration before processing a new study. The configuration dialog can be opened using

• the ALT+S key,
• the button in the lower left, or
• the Settings/Modify entry in the Cardio PET menu.

The following window appears which has the processing settings available on the PCARDP tab.

The Heart model type can be selected from the available selection list: HUMAN, RAT or MOUSE according to the image to be analyzed. The default parameters are set automatically based on the selected model type. The Long axis apex to base length and the Base radius values are also species sensitive. The values can be changed in the corresponing number fields for optimizing the automatic definition of the myocardium. The default values for the selected species can be retrieved activating the Reset button.
